BUYING PEARLS:

Welcome to The Pearl Diving Company website for South Sea Pearl jewellery. All our pearl jewellery is set with South Sea Pearls and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. The gold carat and gem details of each piece of pearl jewellery can be seen by clicking on the individual image.  For an explanation on pearl grading and shapes, please refer to About Pearls.

There are six categories of South Sea Pearl Jewellery to select from: Pearl Pendants, Pearl Earrings, Pearl Rings, Pearl Strands, and Loose South Sea Pearls and Loose Tahitian Pearls.  Under the seventh category Fashion pieces, the pearls are all freshwater pearls.  All the prices on this website are the same as at our SALE Exhibitions as listed above in Our Sale Dates.  The Sale Exhibitions will, however, have a much greater selection than we can include on this website.

Sales Tax:

All prices are quoted with or without the Australian Sale Tax of 10% (GST).  All Australian deliveries will be charged this tax in the normal way.  All Overseas deliveries will NOT pay this tax as it becomes a sales tax free export.  However, overseas buyers may have to pay any taxes/duties applicable in their home country or state.  To view prices with or without sales tax please select either Australia 10% GST optionor Overseas 0% tax option in the Select Sales Tax box on the right hand side of this page.  Note, Australian buyers sending gifts with an overseas delivery address will not be charged 10% GST and should select the Overseas 0% tax option.

Payment Options Australian Buyers:

The Shopping Cart section supports different forms of payment.   Credit Card payments by Visa or MasterCard can be made online through our eWay merchant secure payment system.  Credit Card payments can also be taken over the telephone, email or fax.  Other methods of payment are Bank Cheques or Personal Cheques (7 days clearance).  The preferred method of payment is Online Electronic Bank Transfer where our bank details are listed in About Us.

Payment Options for Overseas Buyers:

For convenience, all prices can be shown in A$, US$, Pounds Sterling, Euros or Yen.  The final payment will be converted into Australian Dollars at checkout.  The Shopping Cart section supports different forms of payment.   Credit Card payments by Visa or MasterCard can be made online through our eWay merchant secure payment system.  An optional method of payment is an Electronic Bank Transfer (Telegraphic Transfer) where our bank details are listed in About Us.
